Saturday saw a pulsating game between Taw Valley 2 and Western Super Mare 2. All the Taw Valley ladies played their part in a hard fought match against the league leaders, Taw went 2-0 up in the first 12 minutes but unfortunately ended up losing 5-4. Goals came from Beccy Addison, Emily Horn, Katie Roach and Captain Sally Poll.
Rhona Screech marked her first game back since the birth of her first child with a great performance, whilst Abi Pullen was also instrumental in keeping WSM at bay.
An injury to goalkeeper Millie Peart, who was having a great match, led Bridget Smith to pull on the pads and take her place, which she did impressively.
